Our Story

Mission Home Solutions is the result of a journey that began with purpose, resilience, and a commitment to helping people live safely and independently in their own homes.

Our story began in early 2020, amid the uncertainty of COVID-19, John’s redundancy sparked the beginning of something meaningful, the founding of a family run business, Mission Home Possible.

What began as a small operation focused on installing grab rails and access ramps quickly evolved as the need within the community became clear. Within just six months, Mission Home Possible expanded into Careport units; an innovative solution that John proudly introduced to Western Australia, marking a significant milestone in both our growth and the services available to the community.

Driven by lived experience, strong values, and a clear vision, what was once an idea has now grown into Mission Home Solutions. Today, we are proud to provide a wide range of practical, tailored home modifications and accessibility solutions designed to enhance safety, dignity, and independence for every individual we support.

We work collaboratively with occupational therapists, builders, home care providers, and families to deliver outcomes that truly make a difference. At the heart of everything we do is a simple belief: that everyone deserves to feel safe, supported, and comfortable in their own home, regardless of their stage of life or level of ability.

Whether you are planning ahead, supporting a loved one, or navigating changes in your own circumstances, Mission Home Solutions is here to guide and support you every step of the way.

Products & Services

Careport Unit

Overview: The Careport is available in two configurations: a shower only model and a combined shower and toilet unit. At Mission Home Solutions, we offer both options to support different needs. The units are available in a range of sizes; however, we primarily stock the 120 Plus model.
This unit measures 1210mm in length, with an 865mm door opening. It also includes a ramp to support safe entry and exit, measuring 1010mm in length and 470mm in depth. All units have an internal height of 1900mm, and the toilet pan (where applicable) is set at a height of 400mm.

Installation Location: We can install in most areas around the home provided there is sufficient space for safe access and operation. The shower-only model offers greater flexibility and can typically be installed in a wider range of locations. For the combined shower and toilet unit, installation must be positioned near an appropriate drainage point, cold water supply, and a double GPO (power outlet).
We can coordinate electrical works if required. Each unit is supplied complete with all necessary components, including pumps, rails, curtains, and an integrated hot water system, ensuring it is fully operational upon installation. This allows for a fast and efficient setup, with most installations completed on the same day, eliminating the need for lengthy bathroom renovations.

The Dry Flush

The Dry Flush system provides a convenient and hygienic toilet solution that can be used virtually anywhere in the home, without the need for plumbing.

It is ideal for travel or visiting family, offering flexibility without compromising comfort or independence. This innovative system is designed for safe, self-contained use in any environment.

A demonstration unit is available to view in our showroom.

The Therm Oz

The Therm Oz thermostatic shower valve is designed for easy installation without the need to remove existing tiles, as it connects directly to current plumbing. It is an ideal solution for elderly, children, or anyone who may have difficulty regulating water temperature. Once set, the unit maintains a consistent, safe temperature, with simple one-lever operation for ease of use. This product is also available for viewing in our showroom.

Grab Rails

All of our rails are proudly manufactured in Western Australia, ensuring high quality and reliable craftsmanship. Each rail is custom made to suit individual requirements, ranging from standard 300mm rails through to fully tailored solutions designed to support access throughout the home whether on stairs, in outdoor areas, or in spaces that may otherwise be difficult to reach.

Our rails are constructed from premium 316 stainless steel, providing exceptional durability, strength, and corrosion resistance. They are available in a standard brushed finish, a highly polished finish, or can be powder-coated in a wide range of colours to complement any environment.

In addition to our rail systems, we offer a selection of complementary products including magnetic door catches and ramps, available in both stainless steel and checker plate finishes. Regardless of your access needs, we are committed to delivering practical, safe, and tailored solutions to support mobility and independence within the home.

Stocked Grab Rails Sizes:

All other rails can be custom-designed and manufactured to your exact specifications, including size, configuration, and finish, ensuring a seamless and personalised solution.

We also supply straight and angled magnetic catches, as well as grab rail toilet roll holders and towel rail holders.

Accessibility Ramps

All of our ramps are proudly manufactured in Western Australia, supporting local industry and ensuring high quality craftsmanship. Each ramp can be custom made to suit a wide range of locations, including front and side door entries, garage access points and even smaller thresholds that can often pose a tripping hazard.

We offer tailored ramp solutions designed to suit your specific requirements, including options with side wings or side bumpers for added safety and security. Our ramps are built to provide safe, reliable access while seamlessly integrating with the surrounding environment.

Lead times for custom ramps are typically between 10–14 days, depending on the size and configuration. While we can supply and install off-the-shelf ramps for more urgent requirements, we generally recommend custom solutions to ensure the best possible fit particularly where surfaces may be uneven or not level.
